Weekend adventures

We did a lot of shopping this weekend. Not that we really bought much in the non-food category, but it was fun to get the whole family out and wheel Isaac about the mall. Babies R Us is near the mall, so I took that opportunity to take back my No Cry Sleep Solution book and get my money back. I never got more than 40 or so pages in, but I started flipping through the book and the back of it was like a laundry list of things to try to get your kid to sleep through the night. Unfortunately, most of them I had actually heard of through the message-board I keep up with and through other moms. Interestingly, Isaac also appears to have figured out most of it on his own anyway -- Friday night he slept from 8:30 to 3, and then yesterday night he slept from 11 till 5:30. That makes for a grand total of 4 (or was it 5?) nights this past week that he slept more than 5 hours in the night. It is my deepest desire that he is up to something even more ambitious in the week to come.

We also rented some more movies, both Claire choices this time. Poor Dad refused to watch "Mean Girls", which turned out to be a very good thing. Run, don't walk, AWAY from this movie. We additionally rented "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind", which we haven't watched yet, but I have heard it is very good. Hopefully more on that soon.
