Crawling practice pictures

Haven't been posting many pictures lately because I have been taking some particularly sucky ones. These below are all I have to offer this time around -- I was trying to capture my little guy in crawling-practice action. He is not technically crawling just yet, but he can motor around to where almost anywhere nearby he wants to go by combining half-rolling, turning-on-the-tummy, and scooting-backwards techniques. Why, just today he noticed the electrical outlets on the wall in the downstairs hall and scooted his way on over to try to reach up and stick his slimy wet fingers in them. I didn't get that episode on camera -- I was too busy dashing madly up the stairs to finally open that package of outlet covers Aunt Robin got for us at his baby shower. Needless to say, that part of the baby-proofing has now been accomplished.

Your baby glows in the dark!

And a happy (belated) 1/2 birthday to Mr. Isaac.

Thank you, Serena. And to Grandma Jane -- I regularly check all the blogs I've linked to. My very favorite is Erin's blog, Tale of a Baby Human, since her Ben is almost the same age as my Isaac. And almost as cute. By far the most elaborate blog, maintained by a stay-at-home dad, is The Trixie Update. I am massively jealous of his web-publishing skillz.
