Backwards crawling

I promised that mah boy would be crawling by October, and I was sort of right -- he can now crawl backwards. He can push up with his arms, and get up on his knees, but he is either too timid to reach out with his hands, or perhaps he doesn't quite understand yet that moving his hands will get him somewhere. So he pushes on his hands, which slides his knees backwards and moves him backwards. He can move around a LOT doing this, especially in combination with turning around on his tummy, but I think he still sort of gets that there is more to it. You can see him working away like mad, trying to figure it out, in three new movies I put on the web (see below on the right). Practice makes perfect. Enjoy!
